Notice on 2020 Zhejiang Government Scholarship Review

The 2020 Zhejiang Government Scholarship review will be explained in the following.

I Introduction

There are two categories under Zhejiang Government Scholarship:

• Type A: 30000 yuan for each student. It is for 2017, 2018 and 2019 master students.

• Type B: 20000 yuan for each student. It is for 2017, 2018 and 2019 bachelor students.

ONLY Partial Scholarship students and self-paid student can join this scholarship review. Other government scholarship students, Presidential Scholarship students, non-degree students and suspended students CAN’T join.

II Review Criteria

• For Type A, candidate must under the age of 35 (born after January 1, 1985)

• For Type B, candidate must under the age of 30 (born after January 1, 1990)

• The candidate shall be a physically and mentally healthy foreign student, and he/she must be friendly to China.

• The review is based on your academic and behavior performances ranking among the same year same major students through the 1st semester of 2019-2020 academic year.

ANY of the following item will lead you LOSING your Zhejiang Government scholarship directly even if your final average score is over 60:

• Any kind of unlete school fees, including insurance.

• The number of total conversions from truancy is or more than 10.

• You have record of disciplinary action during the review period.

• You have bad record during the pandemic control.

• You have record of being punished by public security department.

• Cheating teachers/students or management staff.

• Other situation which is not qualified for scholarship decided by scholarship review committee.

IV Review Process

For year 2019 bachelor students, it will be reviewed by College of International Education. For year 2017, 2018 bachelor students and all master students, it will be reviewed by your major college. The scholarship review committee will publish the final name list.

The quota is distributed to different colleges. When college publish the candidate list, you must cooperate and do as required.

For both Type A and Type B students, your stamped transcript will be prepared by your review college.

For type A candidate, you must prepare the application form (lete everything) and submit it to your review college.

For type B candidate, you must prepare the application form (lete everything) and TWO signed recommendation letters from your associate professors or professors. Then you need to submit them to your review college.

If you are not in China, you can send scanned documents to your review college.

If you do not respond when teacher contacts you, refuse to do as required or provide wrong/fake/unleted documents, bank card etc.…it all means you will give up scholarship by yourself..

V Other instruction

If you cannot get Zhejiang government scholarship, you MUST pay full amount school fees. The following is the school fee details.

You MUST prepare full amount of school fees in advance just in case you cannot make full payment before the deadline. In fact, it is suggested all students prepare full amount of school fees in advance because not everyone can get scholarship.

If scholarship does not cover your full school fees, it means your payment is still NOT leted. You will also face FORCED DROPOUT if your payment is not leted before the deadline.

If you break school rules or be punished by public security departments during and after the scholarship review, your scholarship will be CANCELLED. You will become a self-paid student, and you MUST return the scholarship to school. Then you will also face disciplinary action accordingly.
